Overview

Marmac Water LLC of Greenwood Village, Colorado develops LowDose™ Software, patented coagulation-control software (USPTO Patent 11,505,478) built for water treatment plants. The software is analyzer driven: it reads an online zeta potential analyzer together with pH, temperature, turbidity, flow rate and, where available, organic content from the plant SCADA system, and adjusts coagulant feed continuously to true demand. Marmac chose zeta potential over streaming current because the measurement does not need calibrating and will not drift, and the company states the software starts optimizing immediately rather than waiting on a year of historical data.

Alongside the software, Marmac Water provides onsite jar testing with automated zeta potential, a site survey, thirty-day pilot or full-scale demonstrations with a loaned online zeta analyzer, and virtual or onsite operator training on coagulation science. Across its installations the company reports fully automated dosing, reduced coagulant demand, reduced filter head-loss, extended filter run times and improved dewatering.
