Channel Grinder Leader Since 1918
Franklin Miller, Inc. (FMI), long known for “Best in Class” channel grinders, is expanding into headworks screening and debris washing. The TaskMaster in-channel grinder dominates the market with indexed grinder heads that permit inset cutter blade replacements.
Founded in 1918 and now in its third generation of Galanty family ownership, the company engineers, machines, assembles and test-runs every machine under power at its Livingston, New Jersey plant before shipping to customers in more than 50 countries.
Twin-shaft grinder for open-channel, inline or gravity installs at municipal plants and lift stations. CUTTER CARTRIDGE® one-piece cutter elements replace stacked cutter disks, so there is no stack retightening. Seven models, 12.9 to 57.8 in channel width, 550 to 3,200 GPM.
Open-channel comminutor that screens and grinds liquid-borne solids in the flow. A stationary sizing screen holds oversized material while the cutters reduce it, so no screenings leave the stream. Cantilevered drum, no bearings at the channel floor. Models DM15 to DM42.
Integrated TASKMASTER® grinder and screw screen that screens, washes, transports and dewaters solids in the channel, sending screenings to landfill and returning organics to the flow. Stainless construction; channel widths 14 to 60 in, 3.5 to 19.8 MGD. SLV, SI and SC variants.
Modular hauler-receiving system for municipal plants: manifold, valve, flow meter and Hauler Station controller with HaulerLogic® software, plus optional TASKMASTER® TT grinder and SPIRALIFT® SR screw screen. A card swipe validates the hauler, logs the load and prints a receipt.
