WEFTEC 2025 Recap: Innovation, Partnerships, and Progress in Chicago
A Week of Innovation and Connection
The Vision Equipment team had an incredible week at WEFTEC 2025 in Chicago, connecting with our valued manufacturers, exploring new technologies, and discussing how our collective innovation is shaping the future of water and wastewater treatment across Texas.
“This year’s WEFTEC showed a clear market shift toward quality, American-made equipment — and that really plays to Vision’s strengths. Construction costs continue to rise, but our portfolio of cost-saving technologies offers solutions that help municipalities do more with less. The conversations we had in Chicago reaffirmed that our manufacturers are at the forefront of delivering reliability, efficiency, and long-term value.”

Highlights from Our Manufacturers
Jaeger Aeration — Advancing Retrievable Aeration Technology
We had the pleasure of spending time with the team at Jaeger Aeration, learning about their OxyStrip® and OxyLift® retrievable fine bubble diffuser systems.
Jaeger shared an impressive success story from Flat Creek WWTP in Gainesville, GA, where their OxyLift OxyStrip technology delivered major performance gains. The system provided greater airflow to an operating facility, added 20 levels of aeration redundancy, and helped operators meet NPDES permits more easily — all while improving TN and TP effluent performance through VFD-based oxygen control.
“Jaeger’s retrievable diffuser systems make maintenance safer and more efficient — no cranes required. For Texas plants battling oxidation-ditch underperformance, these solutions can be a game changer.”
– Keisha Antoine, Ph.D., P.E., Sales, Houston Area
Duperon — Celebrating 40 Years of Smart Screening
Congratulations to Duperon Corporation on celebrating 40 years of innovation! Their booth was a crowd favorite this year, featuring the FlexRake IQ2® and Dual Auger System in live demonstrations.
With their FlexRake IQ Platform, Duperon continues to set the standard for intelligent screening systems that adapt to conditions automatically — solving the flushable wipes problem once and for all.
“The FlexRake IQ2® knows what to do and when to do it — no operator intervention required. It’s great to see how Duperon keeps evolving their technology while staying true to their roots in reliability.”

Serpentix Conveyors — Continuous Path Efficiency
Serpentix Conveyors showcased their three-dimensional continuous path™ conveyors — a unique design that replaces multiple conventional conveyors with a single, space-saving system.
The ability to navigate horizontal, vertical, and helical curves allows operators to modernize older facilities without expanding their footprint, reducing energy costs and maintenance needs.
“Serpentix brings elegant simplicity to complex plant layouts. It’s a great example of how clever design can stretch limited space and budgets.”
– Steve Meeves, Electrical Engineer and Sales Manager, Upper Gulf Coast & Central Texas
